PROBLEM:

Bolts, screws and nuts. Broken bolts and stripped threads owing to uncontrolled bolt tension. Seizing of threads resulting in difficult disassembly.

SOLUTION:

Brush or spray MOLYKOTE 1000 Antiseize Paste onto the threads.

RESULT:

Tightening with controlled friction providing precise prestressing of bolts for a given torque. Excellent resistance to corrosion and scaling at high temperature. Easy disassembly.

PHYSICAL FORM:

Mineral oil-based paste containing solid lubricants, Powdered metals and corrosion inhibitors. Colour Metallic brown.

PRIMARY USE:

This product aids assembly and provides excellent release to ensure non-destructive disassembly.

TEMPERATURE RANGE:

- 400 C to + 11500C

APPLICATION METHOD:

Clean thread and apply pastes liberally with a brush or from the aerosol. Excess material need not be removed.

CONTAINER SIZES:

100 g. / tubes, 450 g. / cans, 1 kg / cans, 5 kg / drums, 25 kg/ drums. 400 ml. aerosols (non-CFC containing).

SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS:

Lubricating threaded nuts, bolts, studs and connectors exposed to severe environments and requiring frequent tightening and disassembly, lubricating rollers, oven chains, hinges, marine and outdoor equipment.

SPECIAL PROPERTIES:

Release and sealing properties, excellent ageing resistance, wide service temperature range, protection against scaling and fretting corrosion, doesn’t affect torque values of threaded connections. Contains no lead.
